October 04, 2007 TTBS Inspection Fees
The Trinidad & Tobago Bureau of Standards would like to remind members of the public that, effective September 03, 2007, all goods imported into Trinidad and Tobago, will be subject to compulsory standard TTS 76: Part 1: 2006 – Requirements for Labelling – Part 1 – General Principles (2nd Revision), and as such, will be subject to normal inspection fees.

October 04, 2007 Deferral of TTBS inspection fee
The Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association is pleased to announce a moratorium with immediate effect on the newly imposed inspection fee (General Labelling Standard introduced 3rd September 2007), which was set at 0.5 percent of the value of goods (C.I.F.), until further notice.
