Sustainability

The TTMA sees the need for the manufacturing sector to remain viable and sustainable given that the Association believes it is responsible for its membership, the manufacturers. As a result, the TTMA continually petitions the relevant authorities of Government for improvements in both the physical and social infrastructure; thereby reducing the challenges faced by manufacturers to remain competitive in a global market.

Thus, the Sustainability Pillar stands to ensure and facilitate the creation of an enabling environment for the manufacturers of Trinidad and Tobago. This is ensured through the examination of the Legislative and Policy Framework of the Government’s Executive. In this respect, the Association functions are more in a responsive capacity for the benefit of its membership. The TTMA also seeks to inform its members through workshops/seminars on Best Practice Principles with the aim of maintaining a competitive manufacturing sector.
